This is a word from the Lord sent by Crista Simmons to her local pastor, after he had preached on the letters to the 7 Churches in the book of Revelation. I bear such strong witness to it, that I am passing it on exactly as she gave it without editing it. Some will notice Crista uses the term "ark of the covenant" and I questioned this, but then realized that both arks are significant in the protection of God's people. The obedience of Noah to build an ark was his protection from the storm. And the "ark of the covenant" was the place where the Presence of the Lord dwelt in the tabernacle. Beginning three weeks ago, the Lord gave me two “cleansing” dreams within a one week period….having to do w/ clean, unclean, separateness…compromising; especially leaders in the church.
This is what He said from those dreams:
#1) “My children have been ‘playing’ in My Word as if it is a light thing – when My People need to be cleansed by My Word. They need to be purged from the world and become mature. But right now, they are as toddlers – soiling themselves and having nothing clean to put on. My children need to come out and be separate. Come Out and Be Clean! Come Out! Come Out! Come Out! Come out from among them. Be washed by My Word! Be sanctified! Holy!
#2) “My priests, My Church leaders, no longer distinguishes between the clean and the unclean. Pulpits have fallen to the ground! The leaders I have chosen to feed My People no longer desire to distinguish between the clean and the unclean. The have departed from My Truth and now teach lies. It is those whom I have called to be leaders who have abandoned My Truth for a lie! Woe to them! Woe to them; for leading My People astray and feeding them garbage instead of My Truth!
THE PRIESTS OF THIS LAND, THE PASTORS, ARE IN NEED OF REVELATION OF MY HOLINESS! FOR I NEVER COMPROMISE RE: MY HOLINESS! MY CHURCH IS CALLED TO COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE! I GRIEVE AT WHAT I SEE HAPPENING IN MY CHURCH – SELF PROMOTION, ABUSE, FLEECING THE FLOCK. I GROAN IN AGONY AND MY ANGER BURNS AGAINST THEM. THEIR CALL WAS ONCE PURE; BUT THEY HAVE ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BECOME CONTAMINATED BY THE WORLD, BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN LUST FOR POWER, GLORY, FAME AND WEALTH! SATAN TEMPTED JESUS WITH THE SAME. (Matt. 4:8-9) FOR IN THE LAST DAYS, EVEN THE ELECT SHALL BE DECEIVED.”
Then on 3/11/12 (Sunday morning) I awoke from a tornado dream…and have not had one since 2009 – three years ago.
In this dream the wind began to blow. I was standing outside on a high hill – watching from afar. As the wind began to intensify, the leaves on the extremely tall and wide oak type tree – with a mixture of green and brown leaves, began to shake violently with the intensifying wind. There were farmers tending their fields….A white, two story farmhouse stood to my right…down the hill from where I was standing…there were other people in the house tending various jobs. I was the first to lead the others downstairs to take cover….a volunteer fireman poked his head in through the basement window to ask if we were alright; as he was going out to warn those still outside to take cover. I cradled a little kitten in my arms; afraid it would run away in fear, but it stayed w/ me.
My ‘husband’ never joined me and the others in the basement. Then, I received the report that he was gone/destroyed by the storm, because he wouldn’t heed the warning. There was such a sadness in my heart that my ‘husband’ wouldn’t listen to me, b/c it was his pattern not to listen to danger signs/warnings and to take appropriate action. Even though we were in the basement, we knew that an intruder had broken into the house to steal what he could, but another person yelled at him and he fled. At the close of the dream, I still held my kitten.
This is what the Lord had told me on 3/14 that this dream meant:
“This deals with the condition of My Church today. I have sent warning after warning; yet few will listen. To those who heed My warnings, I shall protect them under the shadow of My wing; as the ark of the covenant; for I AM the ark of the covenant – in Me is safety. Your ‘husband’ were those leaders in the Church who do not listen to My Word and prefer to do their own thing. They shall be swept away in the storm. It is My assurance from the Holy Spirit (the fireman) that all will be well under the shadow of My wing – in Christ.
I have sent My Word over and over, yet itching ears will not hear. Therefore, the storm will overtake them. They are not anchored or hidden in Me. They could have come unto Me to be saved; to be separated from the world, but they loved the world more than Me. Just as Noah’s ark saved those who would obey, so do I save those who still obey Me. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Oh that My Church would have heeded my warnings. And those who obey, will I protect. But to those who turn a deaf ear and heart of stone, they shall be destroyed in the storm. There is a time coming when door of the ark shall be shut and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And I will say, “Did I not tell you? But you would not listen to Me, but preferred another way other than My Way. You preferred the doctrine of demons rather than My absolute Word. You chose the path which leads to destruction rather than my narrow, straitened path.” And as I write just now, I hear a judge’s gavel slam onto his desk….”It is time for judgment to begin in the house of God.”
This is very sobering, indeed.
It was yesterday when you preached from Rev. 2:12-18 that the completeness of this dream fell into place. I believe there is other symbolism remaining in this dream, but this is it for now….
