When I was a little girl,

God put a song deep in my heart. ❤️🎶

But there came a time…

when the fear

and the darkness

seemed to overtake “my song”

…and I shut down my voice.

And there was a season in my life…

when I thought I no longer had

a song to sing.

Fear,

and darkness,

and cobwebs,

and void…

took over my heart.

I thought all was lost.

…But one day,

God turned the page… 📖🎊☀️

...and I turned,

and let Him back in.

“He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon…”—Psalm 91:4-6

The enemy tried to steal my song, but he didn’t win. 💥

“Lord, you are my secret hiding place,
    protecting me from these troubles,
    surrounding me with songs of gladness!
    Your joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough.
Pause in his presence
^8–9 I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you,
    instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life.
    I will advise you along the way
    and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide.
    So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn
    when I take you where you’ve not been before.
    Don’t make me tug you and pull you along.

And God began to

fill

my

heart…

with His song, once again. 💗☀️🎶

“My beloved speaks and says to me:
‘Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
    and come away,
¹¹ for behold, the winter is past;
    the rain is over and gone.
¹² The flowers appear on the earth,
    the time of singing has come…

¹⁴ O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,

And He gave me a new song to sing. 💖✨🎶

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”—Isaiah 12:2

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.”—Psalm 28:7

“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.”—Psalm 40:3

Father, I thank You for the new song

that You give me to sing…

You fill my heart with hope, and with praises.

You cause my heart to sing, each and every morning…

of the new thing

that You are doing in me.

O, Great God…

…Thank You. 💖🎶

For even when my heart went dark and dim,

You never stopped singing Your song over me…🎊🎶

Thank You, Lord Jesus! For it was always Your plan, for me to be free, and that I might have Your song in my heart to sing!
