Election Day has passed, but Alan Smith and Jeff Rowland believe the deeper issue is what the results reveal about the spiritual condition of the nation and the church.
On this episode of The Smith and Rowland Show, Alan and Jeff discuss the election results, concerns about Christian participation in public life, and the tension between political change and biblical conviction. They consider economic arguments about globalism and U.S. policy, then return to the question they believe matters most: whether a nation can prosper while turning away from God and Scripture.
The conversation also looks to Daniel's example in Babylon. Even when the culture around him rejected his faith, Daniel held to his convictions. Alan and Jeff urge Christians to resist despair, keep their integrity, speak clearly about good and evil, and seek revival through prayer and faithfulness.
