Years ago I realized how important Thanksgiving is and I realize that most people mistake gratitude for thanksgiving... Gratitude is a heart thing and God alone sees that and rewards it, however in order to bring Him glory and honor there must be a vocal expression! Then He is honored and glorified in ears of the hearers!
My Wife has three rose gardens and when they are in bloom everyone brags on them because of the FLOWERS!
I believe that Gratitude is the ROOT and thanksgiving is the FLOWER! People don't see the root but love to see the flower and the 'gardener' is honored!
