HOUSE OF PRAYER “Prayer for the Church in Ukraine”

Below you will read what I call a Kingdom Chronicle. The Lord shared this with me years ago. First you ask the Lord for prophetic words and then you ask the Lord to help you for a prophetic utterence by using the words. It is always best to keep the words in the order that they were given by the Holy Spirit. We are trusting the Holy Spirit to already have them in the order they are to be used. People have asked me in years gone by how you hear and get an utterence from the Lord. This is the process I was given. It just takes practice. The following chronicle is given by over 20 people. No one person can take any of the credit for all were involved. If anyone needs any help on how to do this you may email me here at KPS under my member page email. I hope you enjoy the following Word of the Lord to the Ukraineian church.

Little did we know on Wednesday night, as we prayed for the Church in the Ukraine during our House Of Prayer meeting, that Russia would invade the Ukraine the next day. As you read the words and Chronicles below from our prayer time this past Wednesday, may we continue to pray and declare by the power of the Holy Spirit, these words and Chronicles over the Church in the Ukraine.

  2. “Prayer for the Church in Ukraine” Chronicles:
  • Prophetic words used in reverse in this chronicle.  People of Ukraine we see images of tanks, planes, rockets, and a boat of iron has come against you. Jesus said all authority is given to you. You can command that iron to swim or sink and know that you have someone in agreement over here. Remember when Jesus left, he was in charge of it all; and he put it in our hands that our children and our own lives would preserve and keep them. You do not have the weaponry or all the necessary things, but you are girded with his strength. Just recall the Lord Jesus robed in majesty. He is at the right hand of the Father, and you are made to sit down with him, so ignore all this noise. Lift-up your voice in reverence to His holiness. Yes, you will still make the storm whisper because Jesus has given you this authority. Your borders are established; they are not to be redefined by the words of others. The Lord Jesus looks down and says, “All my enemies will be put to shame.” My Children, Jesus is zealous for you. The Lord reigns in Ukraine. I have Ukraine. Ukraine follows Jesus—that is what will be said.
  • A response between the Lord and the Church in Ukraine:
    • The Church in Ukraine declares “The Ukraine follows Jesus.” And the Lord responds, “And I have Ukraine.” The Church in Ukraine declares, “The Lord reigns in Ukraine.” And the Lord looks down and responds, “I am Zealous for you.” The Church in Ukraine declares “All my enemies will be put to shame.” The Lord looks and responds, “And your borders are established.” The Church in Ukraine says, “Oh God, make the storm whisper.” And the Lord responds, “In His Holiness, His voice over all the noise.” The one who is robed in majesty girded with his strength declares “Be preserved and kept.” And the church in Ukraine says, “He's in charge of it all.” Iron will swim. Iron will sink at the command of the Lord.
  • The Ukraine follows Jesus, which means you have them in the palm of your hand. Lord, you reign in the Ukraine, which also means you have dominion over their enemies because they are zealous for you. All their enemies will be put to shame so that your borders are established. God. We pray that you will breathe your power over this nation and cause this storm to whisper. Out of the whole earth you are robed in majesty and girded with all strength. You will preserve and keep all people in the Ukraine. May they rest in knowing that you are in charge of it all. Lord, we ask that the miracle that you did in Ezekiel with the iron swimming or sinking you would do for your people in the Ukraine.
  • Know this day that Ukraine follows Jesus and there is no question that I have Ukraine. It will be evident that the Lord reigns during these days. The world will see that Ukraine is zealous for me. As they look to me all, of their enemies will be put to shame. Know this day, Ukraine, that your borders are established, and I will make the storm whisper as the world watches. The Holiness of God will be heard in the voices of the people. All other voices will be resolved and dismissed. As I am robed in majesty, the world will see my greatness. As the people are girded with my strength, they will see the victory. I promise to preserve and keep my children of Ukraine. Remember, I am in charge of it all. As in the miracle of the swimming Iron, you will see my miracle hand working in Ukraine. Amen.
  • Psalm 93:3-4—The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yeah, than the mighty waves of the sea.
    • Lord, you have confirmed to us tonight that the Ukraine follows Jesus; and we believe you have declared, “And I have Ukraine!” The Lord reigns in Ukraine and the Ukrainian people are zealous for you. As they awake in the morning, let the church in the Ukraine rise-up in agreement to declare, “All my enemies put to shame!” Your borders are established, Lord, from the beginning of time; so, we call upon the heavenly host to protect and defend your borders. As the enemy makes an attempt to rise up and take this country, we ask you to make the storm whisper by the holiness of your voice as you silence the enemy with the noise of your still, small voice. In the quiet stillness of your moving hand, may the sky over the Ukraine light up with you robed in majesty as the church of the Ukraine will be girded with his strength. May you preserve and keep your people as they rise-up in faith to say, “He's in charge of it all!” And we believe, as Your church, that the iron will swim or sink by your will. Amen.

An Open Letter to Justin Trudeau and the Federal Government

An Open Letter to Justin Trudeau and

the Federal Government

 

TO: the Prime Minister and Federal Government,

 We are writing to you as representative pastors of Christian congregations from across the nation and as law-abiding citizens who respect the God-defined role of civil government and uphold the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the highest law of our land, which recognizes the supremacy of God over all human legislation.  

 For the past two years, we have sought to respectfully and peaceably make known to all levels of government our profound concern about the indefinite suspension of civil liberties, coercive mandates and perpetual state interference in the life, freedom and worship of the church – freedoms guaranteed by both our inherited Common Law tradition and Charter. We have also prayed earnestly for our governing authorities, met with them, written letters and petitions, peacefully gathered for protest with other concerned citizens and in some cases filed lawsuits. We have used every lawful means at our disposal to be heard and taken seriously. Yet at every turn, we have been largely ignored, brushed aside, insulted and even told we in no way represent Canadians.

 In recent weeks, the hugely popular truckers convoy containing many Christians (including pastors), has captured the imagination not only of this nation but other nations around the world, laying bare that what we have expressed and argued for months is indeed representative of the concerns of millions of ordinary Canadians who value peace, personal responsibility and liberty. The Ottawa protest has presented your government with a wonderful opportunity to meet with and speak to ordinary Canadians lawfully and peaceably requiring the restoration of their constitutional rights. However, in response to their singing, praying, dancing, candy floss, bouncy castles, speeches about the constitution and outpourings of patriotic love for the country, your government has not only refused to meet with these citizens to hear their concerns, you have insulted, denigrated and lied about them, further dividing a hurting and broken nation.

 As ambassadors of Christ, whilst we respect your office as a public servant and honour the limited role of civil authority as a ministry of public justice, we do not hesitate to fulfill our responsibility as servants of the living God by unapologetically reminding you that Jesus Christ is Lord and King and the ruler of the kings of the earth. He sets up kings and pulls down the mighty from their thrones and none can stay his hand. In the words of the same scriptures engraved on the Peace Tower in Ottawa and written into our very national Coat of Arms:

 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Ps. 2: 10-12)

 Mr. Trudeau, with great respect, you are neither the king nor the ruler of Canada. Both you and your colleagues are public servants sent for a short time to Parliament at our behest as citizens to govern under God in terms of the Canadian Charter and to seek a harmony of public legal interest. You do not grant people rights and responsibilities that are theirs as God’s image-bearers and a free people. Since you do not grant them, you have no authority to remove them. 

​Your government does not grant people the right to their bodily integrity, the right to work or earn a living, the right to decide for their children or to be with their families or dying loved ones, the right to gather to worship and obey God, the right to travel in their own land or enter and leave. Civil government exists to protect these pre-political and fundamental freedoms, not bestow and remove them as if it can function in the place of God. 

 As such, we as Christian pastors condemn in the strongest possible terms your unprecedented invoking of the Emergency Powers Act (1988) with the intent of bringing unaccountable state power to bear on peaceful citizens – "men women and children" – who have been stripped of their fundamental freedoms for two years and who have in many cases lost everything as a result of your government's mandates. There is no national emergency and to invoke one to crush peaceful political dissent is a totalitarian act of repression displaying weakness not strength. These tyrannical actions are exposing this government and people to the judgment of God, and we are deeply concerned that you do not appreciate the significance of God’s wrath upon a rebellious and lawless nation.

 We implore you to step back from the brink, restore the constitutional freedoms of the people, respect the God-given rights of our citizenry and above all to humble yourself and take a knee before Christ the King lest you perish in the way. We urge you to repent of the sins of pride, rebellion against God, and bearing false witness. You have not displayed a brotherly care and love for these honest hard-working people who have tried to peacefully bring their very serious concerns to your attention.

 Our hope and prayer for you and your government is that you will lift the emergency measures, end these lawless mandates, and enact justice for a people who elected you to that purpose.

​For He shall have dominion from sea to sea (Ps. 72:8).

Harold Jonker, First Truck Driver in Canada Convoy. A must read.

I CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I have been making calls to the guys on the front line of the Canadian truckers event - a spiritual revival, in my understanding.
One of those I called was Harold Jonker (pictured), one of the truck drivers, and co-owner of Jonker Trucking Company of Canada. He took my call, but he did not say a word, because they were praising the Lord. The truckers were  standing before Parliament, singing (see picture) “A Mighty Fortress is our God.” I had to choke back tears as I listened. I so wish I had recorded it. Imagine with me, if you would, a group of truckers singing these words, knowing that their political leader had just taken action that could freeze all their bank funds, making it impossible for them to even make a purchase. Here is what I heard these brave warriors singing, verse after verse, the powerful song, A Mighty Fortress is Our God:

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and pow’r are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing,
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us;
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly pow’rs, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth;
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.

I cannot describe what it was like hearing these saints of God, within harm’s way (thanks to Trudeau), singing confidently, “for still our ancient foe, doth seek to work us woe,” or “were not the right Man on our side…” followed by “Dost ask who that may be, Christ Jesus, it is He,” or “we tremble not for him (“the Prince of Darkness”), followed by “His rage we can endure,” or “the body they may kill; God’s truth abideth still.” It was momentous.

(A bit of trivia or irony…or is it “providence?”: I had told Harold a few days ago that I had gone online and discovered that his father, who started their family trucking business, was named “George Jonker.” As you know, my graduate degrees are in church history, and I have taken people on European Church History Tours, including the sites of Martin Luther. When Martin Luther was being hidden from the authorities who were trying to kill him for standing for truth, after his famous “I will not recant. Here I stand. I can do no other” speech at the Diet (dispute or debating assembly) of Worms (a city pronounced VORMES) in 1521, his friends “kidnapped” him (literally, without his consent) to protect him from the plan by authorities to kill him further up the road. They forcibly took him to the castle in Wartburg, where he, in confinement, translated the Bible from Erasmus’ Greek text into the common language of the German people (Low German), giving the people a Bible that they could understand for the first time. Here is the purpose of this story: While they held and protected Martin Luther, he grew a long beard to make him less recognizable (for safety purposes) as he was allowed to move about some, and gave him an alias. His new name was “Junker Jorg” (or “George”). In some European countries, the last name is said first. So “George Jonker” (Harold’s truck driving father) would become “Junker (Germanic spelling) George.” (See sketch of Martin Luther as “Junker Jorg.”)

And if I may add more regarding the “Martin Luther connection,” the song “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” which Mr. Jonker and his truck driving friends were singing, when I phoned him, is based on Psalm 46. When Martin Luther nailed the “95 Theses” on the door (a common practice, as it was a type of bulletin board) of the university church in Wittenberg, Germany on October 31, 1517, touching off the Protestant (“protest”) Reformation, it was at the base of a large Gothic tower with a rounded dome and spires pointing towards heaven, on which the words are engraved at the top, “Ein Feste Burg ist Unser Gott, Ein Gute Wehr und Waffen.”  Those are the opening words of the famous Martin Luther hymn, “A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing.”

When the Canadian truckers finished singing that great hymn, written in approximately 1528, they continued with “Amazing Grace.” I could hear them singing, “through many dangers toils and snares, I have already come…”

And from that, they proceeded directly into “The Doxology,” which begins with the words, “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.”

Praising God! Their emperor-czar had just suspended the law of the land, taking away their Constitutional rights.

Then we talked. In all that is happening in Canada, with all its uncertainty caused Trudeau’s ominous fiats, they are at peace, even joyous.

In typical Canadian serenity, he calmly explained, “We are going about our day.”

Folks, you have read in history about the heroes of history. You now have a chance to watch some. Someday you will tell your grandchildren, “I was watching. I remember when God miraculously rasied up a group of Canadian truckers to save the world from despotism and tyranny.”

Thus Sunday 2-13-22 Phillip Williams on Smith and Rowland Show - Live

Philip Williams, who was born in Statesville, led the first American expedition to visit the structure near the top of Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey that the natives of this famous mountain have always believed to be Noah's Ark. He continues to advise the Mount Ararat Discovery Foundation in the archaeological investigation of what appears an ancient wooden ship, about the same size and design as given for Noah's Ark in the Bible.

 A retired systems engineer, infrastructure specialist, and telecommunications entrepreneur (B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E. from NC State, Professional Engineer in N.C., S.C., and Virginia), Philip pioneered the use of digital switching and fiber-optic technologies in local telephone systems. Since 1990, he has devoted himself to investigating the scientific challenges to the Bible. In 2011, he published the first book to identify the burial mounds found on every continent as caused by Noah's Flood. HIs interest in the discovery on Mount Ararat was due to having traced a second worldwide spread of mankind to this very mountain.

 In 2015, the late Dr. Norman Geisler, appeared with Philip on FOX News, with Dr. Geisler endorsing this discovery as Noah's Ark, the first and only such claim this great pioneer of evangelical apologetics ever did endorse. Philip, who lives in Charlotte, is working on his next book, which will show how the clear geological evidence of Noah's Flood, then referred to as the diluvium (deposits of a flood), was re-envisioned as a long Ice Age. Human remains and artifacts found in these deposits were thus imagined to be from primitive hunters living during a long Ice Age. He will demonstrate that these "cavemen" actually lived during the advanced Early Bronze Age, which was brought to an end by Noah's Flood of the exact date (c.2345BC) as given in the Bible. This not only resolves the chief scientific challenge to the Bible, but will also transform the historical sciences.

Philip is confident that his Scripture Science will soon replace both mainstream and Creation Science. Despite his scientific erudition, Philip identifies with simple believers in Jesus, the Old Time religion of his childhood.

House of Prayer tonight, online

Dear KPS Prayer Partner,
 
What a day we are living in—a time where we need all the prayer we can get! We invite you to join us online for our weekly House of Prayer. It will begin at 7 pm and end between 8 and 8:30 pm. 
 
IHOPKC - Where is the concept of the house of prayer found in the Bible?
The phrase house of prayer is from Isaiah 56:7, where it is used twice: “These [foreigners] I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Jesus refers to this verse when casting the money changers from the temple, as recorded in Mark 11:17: “Then He taught, saying to them, ‘Is it not written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations”? But you have made it a den of thieves.'” (Transcribed also in Mt. 21:13 and Lk. 19:46.)
The heart of the house of prayer is perhaps best captured by David’s heart cry in Psalm 27:4: “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.”
King David established the tabernacle of David. Referred to in many parts of the Bible, this house of prayer is best described in 1 Chronicles 16:1–37:
“So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it . . . And he [David] appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel . . . So he [David] left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark regularly, as every day’s work required.” (1 Chr. 1, 4, 37)
The best picture of what the house of prayer strives for can be found in the book of Revelation, in the many descriptions of the redeemed gathered before the throne of God, such as:
“The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.’” (Rev. 5:8–9)

     As the world gets closer to having the ultimate totalitarian control through a one-world government, and with the increasing darkness, every act of faith will be an increasingly bright light. Keep in mind: God does His best work when things seem most impossible to us. Jesus predicted the end of this age to be the greatest time of darkness and trouble the world has ever experienced. Yet He tells His people to “look up and rejoice because your redemption is near” (see Luke 21:28). So, never lose your joy in the Lord and in His kingdom.

         We can rejoice even during the great time of trouble because the reality of our redemption and His coming kingdom are greater than the chaos into which the world is now melting.  What the world is experiencing now is evidence that our redemption and His kingdom are near, as the biblical prophecies of these times, which we will study, make clear. As we see the correlation between them, our confidence in God’s ultimate plan will grow ever stronger.

         We are told in Romans 14:17 that, the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy. If we do what is right, we will have peace and joy independent of circumstances and the powers of this present world. Instead, our peace and joy will depend on our standing before the Lord in His kingdom. Therefore, the most important decision we can make at this time is to: “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). This means we will put the interests of His kingdom above everything else and above every other decision we make.

          “All these things” He promises to those who seek first His kingdom is basically everything we need. This is important since the biblical prophecies that speak of the evil globalist power that will rule for a time at the end of this age will forbid any who do not have its mark to “buy, sell, or trade” (see Revelation .13:16-18). Those who know the Lord as their Provider will not care whether they can trade with this world. After the Lord said to seek first His kingdom, the next verse states, “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34).

         The tendency of governments to use the Covid-19 pandemic to force people to get the vaccine or not be able to work, travel, or participate in commerce, has many believing this could be the mark of the beast described in Revelation. Others believe if this is not it, it is at least a trial run. Either way, it is imperative that we “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” until He becomes the source for all our provisions. This is the only truly safe place in this world—in God’s will.

         If the vaccine mandate is not the mark of the beast, it could certainly be part of a strategy to condition the world for that mark. Those implementing these mandates may or may not know what they are doing, just as those who crucified the Lord did not know what they were doing. Nevertheless, this does not change the facts—it is what it is. But more than focusing on what the mark is, we should focus on the conditioning of people and the spirit behind that. As it seems every earthly government is now moving toward totalitarian control, which has been ramped up dramatically because of Covid, similar movements are happening within almost every religion, including Christianity. They are operating in the same control spirit that is emerging in the world. We must recognize this control spirit regardless of where it manifests.

         We are told in II Corinthians 3:17, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” So, we must discern by more than titles on legislation or words that may sound good, even Christian words, to recognize the spirit behind this agenda. This totalitarian control spirit is from the evil one regardless of where it manifests. We not only have the right but also the responsibility and duty to resist it, which is clear in biblical prophecies regarding these times. The biblical doctrine and foundation for this resistance will be covered in this study. Those who help prepare the way for the Lord and His kingdom will be of “a different spirit” that will not only resist but ultimately prevail over this ultimate evil.

         The first-century Christians faced this same totalitarian spirit in the Roman Empire. They faced this with one of the ultimate demonstrations of true faith and love—courage. To walk in the boldness and decisiveness we see in these first-century Christians and all true believers since, we must grow in courage and boldness. To do this, we must face every challenge and threat from a totalitarian spirit with courage and boldness.

         We now have evidence that many people are now trusting and following courage more than anything else. However, we want to have courage and boldness for the right reasons. True courage is built on the foundation of love. I Corinthians 13:8 declares “love never fails.” This could have been translated “love never quits.” People will quit for any other reason but love. Therefore, the strength of our courage will be determined by the strength of our love, for God and His kingdom first, but also for those He loved enough to lay down His life. True love never quits.

What In The World Is Going On?

Part 2—Abomination

When I read the news every morning, I now read something unbelievable; and this morning was no different. ProphecyNewsWatch.com, PNW, had a lead article titled: Drag Queen Story Hour For Children Comes to Church. My mind can’t seem to keep up with the level of darkness invading what is holy.

Here is the opening paragraph of the article. “Pastor Aaron Musser of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square in Chicago recently dressed in full drag for the Sunday service, wearing a long white dress emblazoned with a golden cross on its chest, a long blonde wig, and full makeup in order to lead the children’s message. The pastor began the message by calling the children up to the front to sit with him and asked if they’d ever seen a drag queen before. The kids responded in the negative.”

I am amazed at what is taking place here. Innocent children sat there hearing a question that children should never hear, much less answer. The Bible warns us of these times and says: 1 Corinthians 6:9—Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality. The Bible is very clear about such behavior.

The article goes on to say the following: “I have an awesome story to share with you today,” Musser said. “I am also a boy most of the time when I’m here, but today, I’m a girl.”

Can you imagine the confusion that these little ones must have felt at that moment? The article then states: “His message to the children was clearly not your typical children’s Bible story, but an agenda to indoctrinate vulnerable children with his Queer Theology. Musser’s actions, while shocking to some, are part of a long-established trend of LGBT activists that have infiltrated the church, including its leadership.”

The Bible once again describes these times. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (ESV)—But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

Demons of this world are spreading their evil doctrines and practices upon children, and their parents have been moon blinked to the point they are casting their children before this beast. When will the scales fall from the eyes of those blinded by our adversary?

The article then says, “Two years ago, over 30,000 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) teenagers attended the ELCA’s national youth gathering. Popular ELCA pastor Nadia Bolz-Webber (who loves to swear during her sermons and tells her congregants that there is nothing wrong with porn) led the students to say after her, ‘I renounce the lie that queerness is anything other than beauty.’ At the youth gathering, an 11-year-old boy, who thinks he is a girl, was put on stage to promote transgenderism.”

My reason for commenting on this article is to make us aware of what is happening around us and to be helpful in how we should pray. What In the World is Going On?

It is becoming harder to comprehend what in the world is going on. It seems the darkness in the world is trying its best to cover the light that reveals the intentions of a hideous world. In Revelation, Babylon, the Great, commonly known as the Wore of Babylon, raises her head to be easily identified. It seems that once her appearance is unmistakable, we will understand that the “kings of the earth” have committed fornication with her. Revelation 18:3—For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

It appears that every day we see evidence of this drunken state of many leaders in the world. This morning, I read an article in the Prophecy News Network titled, “New Canadian Law Will Officially Describe Parts Of The Bible As ‘Myth’.”

Here is a quote from the article. “Has the Trudeau government put a law on the books that effectively criminalizes Christianity? According to some prominent clergy in this country, the answer is, shockingly, yes.” This statement from the article shakes me to my very core. Could this be true? It seems that it is.

The article goes on to say, “This bill’s wording is sufficiently broad to allow for the criminal prosecution of Christians who would speak biblical truth into the lives of those in bondage to sexual sins like homosexuality and transgenderism... Even a mother or father who offers their children freedom from sexual sin through repentance and faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 6:9-11) could be threatened with five years in jail.”  There is no doubt the passage of Bill C-4 has erased the truth of the Word of God in Canada, which changes truth into a lie right before our very eyes.

Every morning I wake up, it seems to be later than I think. The events of the world are moving so fast I find it hard to keep up and not feel overwhelmed. My first response is to go into denial and unbelief, only to be shaken by the force of recognizing reality. We must be fully aware, as Rev. Dr. Aaron Rock, pastor of Harvest Bible Church in Windsor, Ontario, is of what has just happened. He says the following. “In Canada, the teachings of both basic biology and the Bible are now ‘myths’, according to the preamble to Bill C-4 (conversion therapy bill)... This isn’t about protecting people from harm, it’s about the state playing the role of God. And, not a single MP objected to it, including several that claim to be Christian.”  He sees very clearly what is happening. The government is now displacing God and is sitting in His seat as God.

Rev. Dr. Joseph Boot, president of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity in Grimsby, Ontario, gives a warning which says, “In Canada, Bill C-4 (anti ‘conversion therapy’ legislation) has just sailed through the House of Commons and Senate, criminalizing anyone - parent, pastor, or therapist - who would dare counsel anybody to obey God’s law with regard to human identity and sexuality. I will not comply with this law as a Christian leader, I cannot comply!”

Rev. Clint Humphries, a founder of the Gospel Coalition Canada in Calgary, Alberta, writes: “The secular religion stated in Bill C-4 is intolerant... The Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are all condemned as heresy according to Bill C-4’s claim. How bold is the new religion to anathematize all others!”

We would have to be extremely naïve not to see what is happening here. The apostle Paul gives us specific information to discern the times in 2 Timothy 3—This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We are living in a time that boldness with truth must be declared. Christian leaders from Canada are making this plea: “In response to Bill C-4's disdain for the authority of the Bible, Christian leaders from all across Canada are encouraging ALL faithful pastors and priests to take a stand and speak out from their pulpits on January 16th.”

Let us join the Church in Canada and stand on the truth for the hope of all humanity.
